Start with packing size and gross weight
Ask for carton or case dimensions, gross weight, quantity and total volume. These figures determine whether air freight is practical and help compare sea or rail quotations.
Packing information should match the final configuration. Added handles, trolleys or protective cases can change both weight and volume.
Express and air freight
Express services can suit samples, accessories and urgent small orders. Air freight is faster than sea shipment for many destinations, but chargeable weight and local handling can increase cost.
Confirm whether delivery is airport-to-airport, door-to-door or includes customs services. Batteries, liquids or special components may affect acceptance.
Sea freight
Sea freight is commonly considered for larger distributor orders or heavy machines. It normally offers a lower transport cost per unit, but transit and port procedures take longer.
Clarify whether the quotation is for less-than-container load or a full container, which local destination charges are excluded and who handles import clearance.
Rail and land routes
Rail and road services can be relevant for Russia, Turkey, parts of Central Asia and other supported corridors. Availability changes with destination, border conditions and forwarder capacity.
Treat schedules as estimates until the forwarder confirms the route. Ask how the cargo transfers between carriers and what tracking information is available.
What DDP means for a beauty-machine order
Delivered Duty Paid generally places more delivery responsibility on the seller or logistics provider, but service details still vary. Confirm whether duties, taxes, customs brokerage, remote-area delivery and unloading are included.
Do not compare a DDP price directly with a port-only sea quotation. The service boundaries are different.
Packing and pre-shipment confirmation
